“For Our City” November 20
On Sunday, November 20, Pastor Gordon invited representatives from three ministries that FCF supports that help teens/adults who are in a crisis situation. Each ministry has opportunities for you to become involved and share the love of God with people in our community.
Hagerstown Area Pregnancy Center – The HAPC is located on Baltimore Street in Hagerstown, MD. The center offers pregnancy tests, peer counseling, ultrasounds, and other services to help women who find they may be pregnant and provide them with options other than abortion. Their priority is the health and well-being of the women and sharing with them that God loves. They have an immediate need for a nurse. There are many other areas to volunteer as well. For more information, contact HAPC at 301-739-8717 or firstname.lastname@example.org
HOPE Center – Since 1995, the Hope Center at Hagerstown Rescue Mission has been working around the clock to help those in need. The four main objectives of the Hope Center are:
- Teach and preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ
- Serve the total needs of the individual
- Make disciples and develop their spiritual growth
- Do missionary, relief, and rescue work
The Hope Center at Hagerstown Rescue Mission is an organization providing a broad spectrum of services to young and old – men, women, teens and kids. These services include feeding the hungry; emergency shelter and long-term programs for men; family assistance; outreach ministries to inner city teens and children; women’s Bible studies.
The Hope Center thrives off the local church and community uniting together to help put an end to homelessness, hunger and abuse and help reach out to anyone in need. Our goal is to stop the cycle of hopelessness and bring a change in lives that will not only improve the quality of life on earth but in eternity as well. There are many opportunities to become involved at the HOPE Center. For more information, contact the center at 301-739-1165 or email at email@example.com.
