At FCF, we believe parents have the primary role in the spiritual development of their children. This means that we (FCF) take a supportive and equipping role for families.
Our goal is to come alongside your efforts as parents and create a safe and engaging learning environment. Through weekly resources, outreach opportunities, and our “fifth” Sundays, we strive to provide opportunities and resources for your family to learn and grow and live out your faith. Your children (and families) are important to us and we are here for you.
Through Sunday Morning Services and Wednesday Evening Ministry, it is our intent to create a clear directional path of learning form Toddlers -5th grade that builds upon itself: foundation upon foundation, truth upon truth.
During both our 9am and 10:45am service times, our Toddler classroom uses “Play and Worship” curriculum and our Early Learners (ages 2 1/2 -3) and Preschool (ages 4 & 5) use “Hands on Bible” curriculum. Our Elementary children follow two separate but parallel paths of discipleship. The 9am hour explores “The Gospel Project” where children will gain a clear understanding of the entire gospel story – how all the Scripture points to the Gospel of Jesus. The 10:45am hour explores “Bible Studies for Life” which helps children apply the bible to real life through Bible Stories that guide them in decisions and teach them how to honor God throughout their day-to-day lives.
- Sunday: 9:00 am and 10:45am – Classes for nursery – 5th Grade (during the 10:45am service, K-5th Grade participates in Faith Kids Worship)
- Wednesday: 6:30pm – Awana (September – May)
AWANA is a children’s ministry committed to “reaching boys and girls with the gospel of Jesus Christ and training them to serve Him.” The mission of AWANA is to assist local families in communicating to children the good news that Jesus Christ loves them and can save them from sin. Each week children attend club where they play games, memorize Bible verses and learn lessons from the Bible. Children and youth have fun while being taught the Word of God.
The Gospel Project
“The Rescue Begins” this Spring with “The Gospel Project” for our 9:00 am classes. You want to watch this video and show it to your kiddos!
In March, The Gospel Project’s chronological, Christ centered Bible study crosses into the New Testament and God’s great Rescuer—Jesus Christ—enters the story. But how did we get here? Watch this 3 minute recap of the story so far. The Gospel Project
